Little Monkeys Kilmaurs

Little Monkeys Kilmaurs Road is where it all began. Nestled under the great flanks of Arthur’s Seat in Priestfield, conveniently placed next to the Dalkeith Road commuter route into Edinburgh. We embark on adventures to Holyrood Park and love to explore the grounds of Prestonfield House, admiring the peacocks and Highland cattle as we do.

Kilmaurs Road holds a special place in our hearts as the first Little Monkeys. We were looking for a home from home, a place that didn’t feel clinical and purpose built. The building we found and the area it sits in fitted in really well with this ideal.

Kilmaurs Road is a lovely old Edinburgh Victorian House, set over four levels with super views over to Holyrood park and Arthurs Seat. The walled garden is very secure and the children have an indoor purpose built ball pool for extra fun to be had!
